Trevor Wallace is your professional Chimney Sweep. He began his career as an apprentice Boat-builder and Joiner and after qualifying as a Tradesman, worked for 10 years on prestigious luxury yachts and leisure boats and also as an experienced Carpenter.

He then moved into the Fencing industry and learned the skills of fencing and Gates installation and became the manager of a company specialising in all types of Timber fencing products including Gates, Pergolas, Garden structures and Log stores.

He has also gained 35 years of experience in Painting and decorating and offers a very high standard of workmanship and would be pleased to quote for your home or business

Luxury Boat-building has given Trevor a keen eye and a steady hand for producing Quality work of the highest standard and finish. You can rest assured that any project Trevor turns his hand to will be carried out with the same close attention to detail. During his career, Trevor has achieved many other qualifications including First-Aid at work. Managing Safety, writing risk assessments and method statements, Fire Marshalling and Professional Chimney sweeping.

With Trevors carpentry background, as a sideline to our sweeping service, we can offer and install bespoke, made to measure Log Stores, made in kit form and erected at your home. These Log stores are manufactured from pressure treated softwood and will keep your logs neatly stacked and air dried prior to efficient use in your fire place.

Hermitage Chimney Sweeps are an established Family business, based in Havant, Hampshire. Trevor is your, friendly and courteous Sweep. He is fully qualified and professionally trained with one of the best Industry Standard schools, The Institute of Chimney Sweeps. (ICS) 

 

ICS is a trade association for Chimney Sweeps and Stove Installers. It was established in order to provide the industry with a benchmark for professional excellence and to provide an assurance to the public for safely using their fireplaces.

ICS is now the U.K.'s largest Chimney Sweeping Organisation.

As an approved member, Trevor receives ongoing training and professional mentoring to the highest standard in all aspects of maintaining fire places, stoves and flues. As a result we are able to offer regular sweeping, using the most up to date, modern equipment and Industry standard methods, along with valuable, hepful advive.

As an ICS member we can call upon the support of an internationally recognised trade association, and by choosing Hermitage Chimney Sweeps, you can rest assured your home or business chimney will work efficiently, and above all safely, while lowering the risk of a potential fire. Having an efficient Chimney will also save you money on fuel, as the chimney the hidden part of your fireplace is doing the job it is designed to do.

As an ICS member we will professionally sweep and remove all the soot and debris, then test your Flue or Chimney with a smoke draw test to be sure that your chimney is working efficiently and more importantly safely. Once we are satisfied, you will be issued with a Swept Chimney Certificate of Safety, which is a necessary compliance for your house insurance.

As do all ICS members, Hermitage Chimney Sweeps carry 2 Million Pounds worth of Public Liability Insurance and can provide references, on request.
